Startup Mx: Auba

Auba.ai creates AI tools that streamline operations, enhance decision-making, and drive supply chain innovation through machine learning, analytics, and automation. These tools help companies optimize processes and gain actionable insights.

So what does that really mean?

We build AI solutions that are easy to integrate and deliver tangible results for our clients. Our mission is to enable businesses to leverage AI without needing a PhD in computer science. - Diego Solorzano (Co-Founder Auba.ai)

What does Auba.ai do?

Auba.ai provides a comprehensive view by analyzing data from conversations and mapping out supply chain networks.

Key features include:

  • AI Assistance: Acts as an intelligent co-pilot that learns and adapts to the company’s needs, helping prevent disruptions and optimize operations.
  • Communication Monitoring: Oversees emails and messages, blending external and internal data for a complete overview and proactive alerts.
  • Predictive Analysis: Anticipates delays and disruptions by integrating various data sources, offering solutions to avoid potential issues.

These features can provide significant advantages for corporations. Fragmented supply chain communication causes inefficiencies, leading to substantial financial losses. McKinsey’s Global Institute (MGI) research shows that disruptions can reduce up to 45% of one year's EBITDA over a decade. Tools like Auba.ai can help predict disruptions and optimize supply chains, potentially cutting costs by up to 25%.

Auba.ai inception

Auba.ai was inspired by the goal of making advanced AI tools accessible to businesses of all sizes, not just large corporations.

“The story of Auba.ai starts with a couple of chance encounters and shared interests. I met Austin while working at Blend, and we clicked over our common passion for AI and technology. We later reconnected when I had this idea about combining AI with the growing trend of nearshoring, and Austin was immediately on board” Diego told VC Mexico.

“Françoise and I first crossed paths when I was at Carrot, and she was leading Tesla's efforts in Latin America. We didn’t work together then, but we stayed in touch. Later, when I was pitching Auba.ai to a group of angel investors, Françoise happened to be there. She understood my vision perfectly and got so involved that I invited her to join us.”

They realized that complex AI wasn't practical for most businesses, which led to the creation of Auba.ai. From the beginning, the team aimed to develop AI tools that are powerful, easy to use, affordable, and beneficial for companies of any size or industry.

Our inspiration came from seeing the vast potential of AI and wanting to democratize its benefits across different sectors. We believe AI should be a tool for everyone, not just for tech giants with massive budgets. - Diego Solorzano (Co-Founder Auba.ai)
